Times of guided tours is adapted to school visits, during working days of the week from 9 am to 2 pm. Afternoon and weekend tours will be available on special request.

Program: tour of the Garden or/and pavilion exhibition will inform you on botanic gardens in general,  our Gardens history and its collections, with emphasis on the oldest and most interesting plants, and the current exhibition in the pavilion. Short tour of the exhibition is also available. During the tour most basic information is given, always adjusted to the groups age and knowledge level.

Duration of a guided tour is ca 45 minutes for the Garden, 60 minutes for the Garden and the exhibition and 20 minutes for the exhibition alone. In case of drizzle (week rain) the tour can take place, but if you would like to give up, please let us know at least a couple of hours before the arranged term.

Maximal number of persons in a group is 15 because the paths are narrow. Therefore we divide larger groups  so everyone can participate equally. If we can not provide an adequate number of guides, it is possible to have to succession groups.

Start of the guided tour is always at the Main entrance to the Garden (the Mihanovićeva/Gundulićeva St. in the north).

Reservation of the guided tour term must be done through the web form in this page, sent a week prior to the desired term. Due to changeable schedules our guides (students) we can not accept reservations weeks or months ahead. After we receive your request, availability of the guides is checked and you receive the confirmation of your reservation.
